Blooming Therapy
Welcome to Blooming Therapy.
I’m Sara, a qualified accredited counsellor offering calm, down-to-earth online therapy for adults across the UK. I provide a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, make sense of what you are feeling, and begin to understand yourself with more kindness.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, emotionally drained, or unsure where to start. You may be navigating the impact of a difficult relationship, separation, family conflict, grief, trauma, or a major life change.
Whatever has brought you here, therapy can offer a space to pause, breathe and gently begin to untangle things.
How counselling can help
Counselling is not about being told what to do. It is a space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.
Together, we can look at what has happened, how it has affected you, and what you may need now.
I work with adults experiencing:
Relationship difficulties
Trauma bonds or emotionally confusing relationships
Coercive control or emotional abuse
Separation, divorce or family change
Anxiety, stress or emotional overwhelm
Low self-worth or loss of identity
Grief, guilt or complicated family dynamics
Feeling stuck, confused or unable to move forward
You may still be in the situation, recently out of it, or years down the line and only now beginning to understand the impact. There is no “right” time to come to therapy.
My approach
My approach is warm, honest and collaborative. I aim to offer a space where you feel heard, respected and not judged.
Therapy does not mean there is something wrong with you. Often, it is an act of self-care. A way of giving yourself time and space to understand what you have been carrying.
Some clients come for a few sessions to focus on something specific. Others choose longer-term therapy because they value having regular space to reflect, process and grow.
There is no right or wrong way to use therapy.
Online counselling
I offer online counselling sessions, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Online therapy can be helpful if you need flexibility, feel more comfortable at home, or want to fit counselling around work, parenting or other responsibilities.
Taking the first step
You do not need to have the perfect words or know exactly where to begin.
Sometimes the first step is simply saying:“I think I need some space to talk.”

Blooming Therapy
What might bring you to counselling?
There could be a hundred reasons, or more, why you have found yourself here.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, lost, anxious, hurt, confused, exhausted, or simply aware that something needs to change. You may know exactly what you want to talk about, or you may not have the words for it yet.
The important thing is that you are here.
Reaching for support can be a powerful first step.
Counselling gives you time and space to talk honestly about what is going on for you. It is a place where you can be vulnerable, express your true thoughts and feelings, and begin to unpack things without judgement.
The relationship between you and your counsellor is an important part of the work. Feeling safe, heard and respected matters. Building trust and rapport allows you to explore the things that may feel too difficult, too messy, or too complicated to carry alone.
Because your counsellor is not connected to your personal life, therapy can offer a neutral and unbiased space. You do not have to protect anyone else’s feelings, explain yourself perfectly, or worry about being judged.
You can talk openly, at your own pace, with support that is focused on you
